DAY 1: HANOI
Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties.
At Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to do check-in.
After relaxation, our guide will take you walk to the theatre and you will enjoy Water Puppet Show – A traditional art performance of Vietnam. After that, you will have a welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA
08.00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will come to the hotel and pick you up to start the Hanoi city tour.
You will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex. Here you can visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of Uncle Ho kept there. Next you will visit the Presidential Palace - a nice French architecture in the garden and Ho Chi Minh House on stilt. Visiting the house you will see the simple life of Ho Chi Minh - the president in Vietnamese's spirit forever. You will finish this area with One Pillar Pagoda - one of the most attractions in Hanoi you cannot miss with the special in architecture.
Having lunch and you will continue to the Temple of Literature - The first University of Vietnam. The next destination will be Museum of Ethnology to learn more about Vietnam Culture. Next you will explore Hanoi by traveling through the Old Quarter with 36 ancient streets in a traditional cyclo. This slow - speed tour will give you a great chance to fully enjoy the classic and modern of the capital. You will end the tour at about 04.00 PM then it is your free time to go shopping, relax in Hanoi.
In the evening, about 08.30 PM, the guide will come to your hotel and transfer you to Hanoi train station for Lao Cai departure and spend whole night on train.
DAY 3: SAPA - TREKKING EXPERIENCE
Transfer:Activities:Arrive in Sapa Town, Go trekking in Lao Chai, Tavan Villages
05.30 AM: You arrive at Lao Cai station, the driver and guide will meet up and drive about 01 hour to Sapa Town
You first sneak through the Sapa market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you will further explore Sapa areas by visiting the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van. Lao Chai village is a peaceful place where you can meet the Black H'Mong minority people and know about their tradition and custom. Near Lao Chai village is Ta Van village, home to Giay minority. Here, beside meeting and chatting with the local, you can see huge terraced fields and rattan bridges which may scare you when walking on.
After lunch, you will go back to Sapa, the rest of the time, you will relax in Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA - HANOI
After breakfast, we will have a walk to Cat Cat village to visit the H'mong, the hydro electric power station built by French people and silver waterfall. You can explore other areas and meet other minorities by walking down the valley below Sapa.
Then walk back to Sapa, have lunch and and free to explore the town.
In late afternoon, get on the car to Laocai station and take the night train to Hanoi (air-con. berth). Stay overnight on train.
DAY 5: HANOI - HALONG BAY (Overnight on the cruise)
05.30 - 06.00 AM: When arriving at the Hanoi Railway station, you will walk to the mini-hotel near the train station for a rest and breakfast.
08.00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 3.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark the cruise and enjoy welcome drink while having tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sailing further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands.
You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. After 01 hour exploring the bay, we will get back to the cruise for relaxation before attending Cooking class in the late afternoon.
Enjoy the superb dinner and stay overnight on board.
DAY 6: HALONG BAY – HANOI - HUE
We will continue our journey on Halong Bay in early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on cruise.
Sitting on the upper deck; you can relax, sight-seeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.
After breakfast, we will explore Sung Sot cave - one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life.
At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
You leave the boat around 12:00 at noon, we go ashore and transfer back to Hanoi.
About 04.30 PM, you will arrrive at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
Our private car will wait for you at the hotel, transfer you directly to the airport for your flight to Danang. When arriving in Hue, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel by our tour guide and driver. Stay overnight in Hue.
DAY 7: HUE CITY TOUR
08.30 AM: Our tourguide will wait for you at the hotel lobby tostart the tour around Hue Old Citadel.
Starting the morning in the ancient land, you board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient royal tombs of emperors past, and visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. From here you will take a drive to visit King Minh Mang tomb & King Khai Dinh tomb. Lunch at a local restaurant.
This afternoon you will join a tour of Hue City including the Old Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City - an amazing historic landmark in Hue - a definite must-see sight to learn more about the history and architecture that visitor should not miss when travelling to that peaceful area.
After the tour you will be transfer back to your hotel. Free in the evening. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 8: HUE - HOI AN
08.30 AM: After breakfast, the tour guide will for you at the lobby and we will round off the day with a transfer by private vehicle to Thanh Tien Village. You might wish to stop en-route to capture typical moments of local life and beautiful landscapes (French cows, churches…). This is an opportunity to discover the charms of the Hue countryside, its ancient villages, its pagodas and churches as well as its rivers covered with lotus flowers (subject to weather conditions). Thanh Tien village is located along the Perfume River famous for its traditional handcraft production of paper flowers and has been dated back around four hundred years.
After visiting Thanh Tien village, you will be on 2.5 - 03 hour journey to Hoi An. The winding road begins as we make our way up the Hai Van pass. The breathtaking view from the top of the pass is one of Vietnam’s most impressive panoramic scenes.
Arriving in Hoi An in the afternoon, you will check in hotel and then be free to relax at the resort or wander around the colorful peaceful town. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 9: HOI AN
08.30 AM: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, then you will cycle around Hoi An towards through paddy field, Ba Le market, kindergarten ... until reaching Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest - about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, houses covered by coconut water leaf . This place had ever been the refuge for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it is famous for providing the most seafood products.
You will be warmly welcomed at Mr. Han – a 3 generations family, taste of green tea and stroll through the village. You will row a basket boat within the hands of skillful locals and discover their techniques of traditional fishery in water coconut forest.
Back Mr. Han’ family for enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice before getting ready to prepare lunch with a local family. Lunch will feature many local delicacies, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, BanhXeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf and others.
After lunch, free time and take a short rest before returning to your hotel at about 3.30PM. Free on your own. Overnight in Hoian.
DAY 10: HOI AN - HO CHI MINH
About 02 hours before your filght, our driver will come to the hotel and drive you to the airport for your 90 minute flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city, the most bustle and hustle city in the south of Vietnam. This is one of the must-visit first cities attracting international tourists.At Tan Son Nhat Airport, our guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to do check-in.
After relaxation, it is your free time to discover the city, walk around Ben Thanh market and taste very delicious local cuisine. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 11: MEKONG DELTA
07.30 AM: Today our guide will take pick you up at the hotel lobby and take you to Mekong Delta and we will explore the unique life of local people here.
Cai Be floating market is the first stop on the journey exploring the beauty of Mekong Delta. From early morning the waterway becomes the maze of wooden boats packed with fruits, vegetables, food. Sellers hang up a long pole with a sample on the top to show buyers their products, which is a unique feature of this distinctive market. Afterward, we may make some stopovers at local workshops to learn how rice paste, coconut candy and pop-rice are made.
There is also a handicraft village nearby where you can see how the locals make rice sheets, fish sauce, soya sauce, cooking salt and sew coconut-leaves for cottage proof.
After a delicious local food lunch, we will travel around in a rowboat and see the traditional wooden houses, palm trees and the daily activities such as fishing and picking up fruits in the Mekong Delta. You can also stop to visit nursery garden where young trees of different types of fruits are cultivated by the skillful growers of the Mekong Delta to produce the world famous fruits and vegetables.
The cruise will end at around 3.30PM. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 12: HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE
