DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI
Your private tour guide will meet you at Hanoi’s Noi Bai airport and will escort you by private car to your selected hotel in Hanoi (travel time approximately 1 hour). Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to answer any questions about your Indochina holiday itinerary along the way, and will assist you with check-in and registration at the hotel.

Note: For the Vietnamese Visa on Arrival, please make sure you have 2 passport sized 4 cm x 6 cm photos and $25 for the stamping fee.

DAY 2: HANOI MONUMENTS AND ALLEYWAYS
This morning we visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex the resting place of Vietnam’s most famous revolutionary. The Complex also includes the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. The afternoon will be free for you to maybe explore the ancient ‘36 streets’ and discover an amazing selection of shops that sell everything from souvenirs to exquisite silk clothing, jewellery and beautifully embroidered tablecloths. Otherwise the Temple of Literature, an ancient collection of courtyards, gardens and architecture built in homage to the Chinese scholar Confucius, is a good choice. Considered the oldest university in Vietnam, the Temple of Literature dates back nearly one thousand years! Enjoy lunch at a restaurant specialising in traditional Hanoi delicacies. Walking or riding a bike is the best way to explore this town. The shopping is fun and the many lakes and parks provide enjoyable escapes from the city.
In the evening, you'll sit down to a unique water-puppet performance.

DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY – ON BOARD A JUNK BOAT
Depart from Hanoi at approximately 7:45 - 8:15am. A guide will pick you up from your hotel before the journey to Halong Bay. Take a short break en route at Hai Duong Province, a popular handicraft shopping center and a great place to stretch your legs. Arrive in Halong Bay at approximately 12:00pm. In the afternoon, begin your cruise of Halong Bay while a seafood lunch is served on the boat. On the way, admire the amazing karst rock formations. You will arrive at Floating Village to visit local life of fishermen and enjoy 1-hour kayaking adventure. Back on the cruise ship, make use of your free time to swim, sunbathe or snorkel. Relax on the sundeck, enjoy free fruits and drinks, or join a cooking demonstration class and learn how to prepare Vietnamese spring rolls, before sitting down to dinner. After dinner, you are free to relax, listen to music or try squid fishing in the bay. All equipment is provided.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DA NANG/ HOI AN
After breakfast on board the boat, enjoy a 1-hour visit to Sung Sot (Amazing Cave), Halong Bay’s largest cave. Take some amazing photos before cruising back to the harbor. Along the way, experience the beauty of Dinh Huong Island (Incense Burner), Cho Da Island (Stone Dog) and Ga Choi Island (Fighting Cocks). After lunch, disembark the junk and take a bus back to Hanoi. Make a short stop en route, and arrive back at your hotel at approximately 17:00. Then you will be driven back to Hanoi’s Noi Bai airport for a short flight to Da Nang. Snacks are provided en route.
Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, your private tour guide will take you to your hotel in Hoi An to check in. The rest of the day will be yours to explore at your leisure.

DAY 5: HOI AN WALKING CITY TOUR
Start your walking journey through the breezy walking streets, lined with honey-yellow buildings, and arrive at Chua Ong Pagoda. This Chinese inspired structure dates back to 1653, and its interior still wafts the sweet smell of incense during the day. From here, walk onward to nearby Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Jinshang Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea.
After passing by the 200-year old Tan Ky House, take a short break at the Japanese Covered Bridge - one of Hoi An’s most iconic structures. At Reaching Out Tea House - an establishment that aids locals with disabilities - sit down for a rejuvenating cup of tea before having a tasty lunch accompanied by a cooking demonstration at a restaurant specialising in traditional Hoi An delicacies. After taking in the stunning riverside scenery along the Thu Bon River, wrap up your journey with a sunset cocktail at a rooftop bar.

DAY 6: HOI AN BOAT TRIPS
Depart from the meeting point at 08:30 and leave Hoi An, crossing the Cua Dai bridge with its spectacular views of the Hoi An river system, mountains and Cham islands. You'll arrive at the fishing village alive with activity as the market traders sell their recent catch, providing some great photo opportunities. At 09:45, you will arrive at My Son. This "Valley of Kings" as described by French historians, was once the capital of the Chăm Pa Kingdom from the 4th-15th century.
Following a traditional dance performance, your walking tour to the Cham ruins begins with a short ascent along a jungle bordered track. While you explore the area, your guide will explain the history of the religious site which served as a burial place for the Cham monarchs centuries ago.
At midday, commence the drive back to Hoi An to start the boat trip on Thu Bon river. Departing from Nguyen Hoang dock, your boat journey of approximately two hours will take you past Duy Hai fishing village, Tra Nhieu weaving village, Kim Bong carpentry village and Cam Thanh coconut jungle village.
At 15:30 the boat trip will finish at Nguyen Hoang dock in the old town. You will be free to explore the old town or return to your hotel by your own means.

DAY 7: HOI AN/ DA NANG – FLIGHT TO NHA TRANG
After breakfast and a leisurely morning on your own, you will be picked up and driven to Da Nang airport for a short flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, you will take your private transfer to the hotel in Nha Trang for check in. Lunch will be on your own.
In the afternoon, you will go to Thap Ba Hot spring to enjoy an exciting mud-bath and massage which is always the highlight of the day. This lasts for about three hour including the medical therapy mud-bath and full-body massage.
After that, you will return to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day to chill out at the beach.

DAY 8: NHA TRANG BAY FULL DAY BOAT TRIP
Following pick-up from your hotel between 08:30 and 09:00, transfer to Nha Trang Port to board your boat. Inspired by the luxurious life of Vietnam's last emperor, Bao Dai, the cruise will take you to some of Nha Trang's most beautiful islands.
Enjoy a welcome drink with the experienced manager and get an introduction to Nha Trang Bay. Learn about the locals and their food and culture. Hear about the Emperor Bao Dai. Get some safety precautions before the start of your cruise and see the spectacular landscapes of Nha Trang Bay as you set off.
Head to Mieu Island to trek and to visit local fishing villages. Learn about life off the mainland as you interact with villagers. Spend a few minutes exploring the landscape by basket boat. Then continue toward the islands of Tam, Mot and Mun. Enjoy some water sport activities, such as snorkeling and scuba diving (own expense). Swim in the clear blue waters of Nha Trang Bay. Between 11:00 and 11:45, you can snorkel at Mot Island with experienced instructors.
Stop in front of a mini beach from 12:00 to 13:30 for a sumptuous set lunch on board the boat. You will anchor near Hon Tre Island, where a tranquil lagoon with fishing farms awaits. From 14:00 to 16:00, enjoy some free time to relax at Cau Beach. This is a private beach with activities such as kayaking in glass bottom kayaks. Alternatively, you can relax with a cocktail or swim and sunbathe.
Depart at 16:00 and cruise through Bao Dai Villas on route back to Nha Trang Port. A transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel or drop you off at the airport if you prefer.

DAY 9: NHA TRANG – FREE DAY
The whole day will be yours to explore at your leisure. You could spend this day to chill out on the beach or enjoy the hotel comforts. You can also discover some of the sites in the city such as Cham Ponagar tower, Long Son Pagoda and Dam Market.

DAY 10: NHA TRANG – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)
After your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, check in to your hotel and then start a day of exploring at the city’s Central Post Office, next door to the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral. Next, stroll toward the Saigon River along Dong Khoi Street to the centre of town and the commanding Saigon Opera House.
In the evening head back to the Saigon Opera House, to watch the spectacular A O Show. This performance is a showcase of Vietnamese culture and art, and combines, in beautiful precision, elements of both old and new.
After the hour long show, take a short walk through the wide Boulevards of central Saigon to Hoa Tuc Restaurant - a real culinary and architectural gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of District 1. Renowned for its combination of contemporary Vietnamese cuisine and authentic French colonial architecture, Hoa Tuc is the perfect end to a memorable night in Saigon.

DAY 11 - 13: HCMC – CU CHI TUNELS
Escape the congestion of Ho Chi Minh City and head out into the countryside, a far cry from the frenetic urban sprawl of downtown Saigon. As you journey down the Saigon River by speedboat, watch the city fade into the background, replaced by scenes of rural Vietnamese life, and enjoy a selection of traditional Vietnamese fruits.
Your destination is the Cu Chi tunnels, the infamous underground city for Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War. Central to the Viet Cong’s strategic war operations, including the famous 1968 Tet Offensive, it is still complete with a hospital, kitchen, and schools. The Cu Chi experience can be emotionally draining for some visitors, but it does offer a fascinating look into the ingenuity of the local Vietnamese people.

DAY 14: HCMC – DEPARTURE
After breakfast and a leisurely morning on your own, you will check out by midday and your private driver will pick you up and take you back to the HCMC’s Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight home.
